My journey

I am pleased to say that I first shared and talked about my research of Garba-Fusion at the Dance Re:Ignite Festival 2024. It was a beautiful inclusive festival where so many participants showcased their work and participated in workshops.

I appreciate Carrie Washington for allowing me to present my ideas at this festival. I performed a 5-minute Garba-Fusion improvisation followed by a discussion to gather feedback and thoughts.

Without a doubt, this opportunity encouraged me to be more creative in the studio and consider the feedback given.
